Welcome to Middle-Earth  ☼  Moria

The Moria (or Khazad-dûm) was the Dwarven underground city beneath the Misty Mountains. For thousands of years, a thriving Dwarvish community had delved deep below the mountains seeking to build their lives there, and to find sources of treasure, gold and Mithril. The city was abandoned during the Third Age after excavations accidentally released a balrog.

It is a strange fate that we should suffer so much fear and doubt over so small a thing. Such a little thing.

The world is full enough of hurts and mischances without wars to multiply them.

Welcome to Middle-Earth  ☼  Anduin

Anduin was the Sindarin name for the Great River of Wilderland, also known as just The Great River, and to Éothéod, the ancestors of the Rohirrim as the Langflood.

I am sorry. Sorry you have come in for this burden. Sorry about everything. Don’t adventures ever have an end? I suppose not. Someone else always has to carry on the story.

Fly, you fools!

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us

The road goes ever on and on. Down from the door where it began.

lotr meme: three races [1/3] → hobbits

Hobbits really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month, and yet after a hundred years they can still surprise you.
